When hair grows out of your head, this is a process called protein synthesis. The hair naturally forms Covalent Bonds. Covalent bonds form between amino acids and the disulfide crosslinks and that makes the backbone of hair which makes it strong.

All three Tiger Covalent Grafting products first start as an ionic bond where the positively charged peptides and amino-acids that make the PolyGraft-9 Complex penetrate to the inner most layer of the polypeptide chain and bond to the damaged areas of the hair.

This is one of the reasons Tiger will never over proteinase because it will only graft to the negative charges on the hair which are by nature the damaged and broken peptide and disulfide bonds.

This same reaction occurs in the Tiger Catalyst and PolyGraft-9 during processing can be seen visibly during a Tiger Press permanent Keratin Treatment in the final step when the hair is completely dried. A flat iron is used, sips of steam can be seen leaving the hair shaft as PolyGraft-9 is covalently engrafted. With Tiger, Heat is now good for the hair and creates more covalent bonds.

Once the hair is catalyzed by the Tiger Catalyst, heat accelerates the reaction and PolyGraft-9 begins to grow permanently engrafting into the voids and damaged areas of the hair.

During this reaction, water is produced and that is why during the Tiger Press treatment even after the hair is completely dry, sips of steam can be seen leaving the hair shaft.

During the reaction of the Tiger Covalent Bond Conversion Catalyst and the PolyGraft-9, the hair shaft undergoes dehydration synthesis. This covalent engrafting of the PolyGraft-9 synthetically produces protein as Tiger begins to grow. It is still a secret what we are growing inside, but it is very strong and just like real hair
