Hi! We are so glad you are here. All stylists who are experts in blow-outs, permanent waving, and colorists are invited to the QAI Launch Party and the #QAIRUNWAY Challenge. All submissions must be made before 12AM October 16th. The Launch Party is on October 17th 2026 starting at 3PM. Feel free to show up late if you can not make it on time. We will be going late but dinner starts at 6. We are excited you are interested in taking part in the future of permanent smoothing and repair.
#QAIRUNWAY Challenge is about showcasing the skills and creativity of the artist using advanced products. All products are provided for free, and you are entered into an exclusive competition for a chance to win 1st $7,000, 2nd $3,000, 3rd $1,500 dollars. These winners are announced at the party! Which includes Fine dining, Live Concert Pianist, open bar, and fun with other local industry professionals.

Three steps to the runway
First, pick a treatment you would like to showcase
There are two different treatments to choose from for the challenge.
QAI Covalent Blow-Out
This treatment can be applied for permanent Smoothing, Waving, and Curling.
QAI Covalent Grafting Repair
This treatment can be applied for permanent repair for a client that has damaged, dry, porous and gummy, and overprocessed hair. The goal is to show how damaged the hair is and then transform it into healthy hair in excellent condition that can even be reprocessed.

Second, perform Covalent Blow-Out or Covalent Grafting Repair
- Find client asap to perform Covalent Blow-Out or Covalent Grafting Repair. Must upload video before 10/16/2026.
- Set up iPhone on tripod with ring light (Amazon Ring Light).
- Film before, during and after. Have client do runway walk or spin.
- Edit to 60 sec or less & upload to IG and tag #qairunway #covalentblowout #covalentgrafting.
Third, Go to the party, have fun
The winners are announced, the pictures are showcased and the payouts are made at the party… you are still eligible to win the #QAIRUNWAY Challenge if you do not attend — we will pay via Zelle, Cash App or check, whatever works best.

Covalent Blow-Out — Examples
Hypothetical Scenario 1
You reach out to a customer and say you have a treatment that will last much longer and is better for their hair. (The treatment is also formaldehyde free) and perform treatment for usual client.
Covalent Waves — Hypothetical Scenario 2
You find a client who wants permanent waves, body or curls in their hair and say you have a treatment that will last twelve months and leave their hair in excellent condition. We can even color or highlight it the same day.
Covalent Grafting Repair — Examples
Hypothetical Scenario 1
You reach out to a client or find a model that has damaged, dry bleached, or over processed hair and ask if they would like a "Permanent Keratin Repair Treatment." This will rocket their hair recovery and permanently restore their hair back to a more natural state.
Hypothetical Scenario 2
For example, a client has fried bleach blond hair, she wants toning done but the hair is obviously too compromised for more processing… perform Covalent Grafting Repair.
Film before, during, and after showcase.
Now that the hair has been covalently bonded back together and the porosity is leveled, you can continue processing on most hair types.
Show the before, during, after repair treatment, application of color, and then results.
